The Zumaia flysch is a unique geological formation of alternating hard and soft rock layers on the Basque coast. This formation provides a record of Earth's history over the last 60 million years, visible in the cliffs of Zumaia. In my pictures I try to convey the stunning beauty of nature.

Honorable Mention

Winter in F Minor

"Serpent d'océan" is a monumental sculpture, 430 ft long in total. The work is installed in the territory Saint-Brevin-les-Pins in France, at the limit where the Loire estuary joins the Atlantic Ocean. By photographing fragments of the sculpture, I aimed to create images full of dynamics and drama.

This work is not a photo manipulation. I was simply watching the clouds from my home  windows when a spectacular sight began to form. I was just lucky to be able to photograph this sight.
