Golden Quetzal

The light before sunset in the Empty Quarter desert in Oman creates an ephemeral resemblance to the quetzal, an elusive bird characterised by an elongated body and tail that lives in a completely different ecosystem, the lush forests of Central America.

About Artist

Giacomo Feroldi

From Brescia, Italy. Driven by my love of nature, I found landscape photography to be the ideal medium to express myself. It has allowed me to view familiar places in a new light and to discover others, both near and far. Most importantly, it has enabled me to experience moments of great intensity that I would never have encountered otherwise and which continue to inspire my journey of self-discovery.
