Crown of Her Own

This series reexamines the traditional fairy-tale narrative by presenting models as princesses in everyday settings. I believe every girl is born with a tiara and grows into it through experience and strength. Fairy tales are not just fantasies but can be found in the small moments of daily life.

About Artist

Haruko Fujimoto

I started out my photography exercise with a 35mm film camera. Even though I loved the experience tremendously, I moved on to digital eventually. I still like the unique atmosphere film photos give and try to bring it to the digital photography as well. My favorite genre is street photography and natural portraits. Vivian Maier is a huge inspiration of mine.
